Birds of Paradise FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions for the Birds of Paradise paddle boats.

Riders must be at least 36" (92 cm) or taller and able to sit unassisted in an upright position.

  • Second rider must be a minimum of 5 years of age. Children aged 5 to 7 must be accompanied by a chaperone 18+.
  • Third rider must be between 3-6 years of age. When riding with a third rider one guest must be 18+.
  • Children aged 7 to 10 must be accompanied by a chaperone 16 years of age or older.

Lifejacket must be worn at all times while on the floating dock and in the boat

Any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate.

MEDICAL
Persons with the following conditions should not ride: Expectant mothers. Recent surgery or other condition that may be aggravated by this ride, including guests with casts or support braces. Heart conditions, epilepsy or abnormal blood pressure. Back, neck, or similar physical problems. Motion sickness or dizziness. 

 

  • Long hair must be tied back.
  • Dresses are not recommended.

Only life jackets provided at the attraction are permitted for use. No water accessories are permitted to be brought onto the paddle boat 

Loose articles including, but not limited to, purses, jewellery, and recording/photo devices (phones, GoPro/action cameras, etc.) are not permitted.

Tickets are sold on site at the attraction only

There can be up to 5 paddle boats on the lake at one time.

Intentionally bumping into other guests or the barriers will result in removal from the attraction without a refund.

Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable 

Guests will have 10 minutes to venture into the lake and return to the dock. Late returns back to the dock is subject to $1/min charge
